NetMarket
When executives at CUC International needed to pitch an internet mall concept to their CEO, they turned to FutureTek. In two weeks, FutureTek programmers delivered a full-featured prototype version of NetMarket, the world's premier online shopping experience. Highlights of the prototype included a VRML navigation system, personal shopping "agents", shoppers chat and bulletin board area, a graphical shopping cart tool, and 3-D QuickTime VR showrooms. The FutureTek prototype demonstrated the power of a new form of commerce and secured approval of the proposed internet mall project.
