Developed JSP, Servlets, applications, and applet for a web application and internal application. The web application can be found at www.destinygrp.com. The web application queries and updates an Oracle database running on RedHat Linux. The engine use is Tomcat Jakarta. The internal application was used to maintain data of consultant’s hours and skills. The front end was designed and coded primarily by me, in Swing. Other duties included, Linux upkeep, CVS maintenance, and light Oracle maintenance. Created SQL scripts to create tables, PL/SQL code. Coded in JavaScript and HTML. Trained as a DBA for Oracle.

 

Partnerware Technologies, Software Developer/Configuration Analyst, Sept. 1999  - Sept. 2000       

 

Created pages that generated dynamic content on the server-side for a web application. The pages generated HTML content on the fly using PowerDynamo (a derivative of JavaScript). The pages would query and update a database. Among the databases used were Sybase and Oracle. Responsibilities included gathering the requirements, designing and validating implementation. Created SQL scripts to create the underlying structure (tables, views) in SQL. I was promoted to developer from Configuration Analyst (CA). Trained on UML and OO design.
